ISO 9001 : 2008 Certification

Certified ISO 9001, since 2001, July 11, CRM makes a point to enhance its quality approach. Continuous improvement is the moto and unifying factor for all the employees.

Our main goals for Quality are customer’s satisfaction and sustainability of the company.

In order to achieve these targets, the following actions are being carried out :

  • internal technical support to better understand and implement our quality system
  • sensibilization of our teams to customers requirements
  • regular analysis of all the data to suggest some ways of improvement, in order to profit from our experience and increase customer’s satisfaction
  • ways and means of improvement, constantly evaluated
  • Follow-up of accountancy and financial ratios

The Management encourages this policy and the proof is the declaration from the General Director. Therefore, with the support of the Management, our Quality Policy is taken care of by an experienced and hard-working team.

CERTIFICATION IRIS

certificat_iris_[640x480].jpgCRM is one of the first SME specialized in precision mechanical machining to become IRIS certified which, according to Martine PAÏS, CRM General Director, highlights our products and teams high standards. In order to fulfil our customers requirements and expectations, CRM has set up an organization based on Processes, on which relies the Quality Management System :

  • Management Process which guarantees resources availability
  • Commercial Process which guarantees customer service
  • Purchasing Process which organizes the supplies of raw materials and services necessary for parts production
  • Manufacturing Process which ensures production according to customers requirements
  • Quality/Control Process which guarantees the conformity of all our parts and the respect of the Quality System and continuous improvement.

The dynamic approach to Continuous Improvement enables us to record and analyse the results. The Process System improves our performances, always aiming for our goal : Customer satisfaction

CERTIFICATION according to the welding standard NF EN 15085

Addressed to railway rolling stock manufacturers, the standards NF EN 15085 « railway applications – welding of coaches and railway components » sets the requirements for conception, manufacture, inspection of welded assemblies, as well as the organisation of welding operations within the company, qualification of welders and welding coordinators, IWS and IWT qualified. With this standard in place, CRM confirms that its strategy is based on continuous improvement. This certification confirms our ability to manufacture all types of mechanical welded parts for the railway market.

Quality system

As proved by our certifications and all the actions that go with them, our quality approach is getting stronger since the ISO 9001 certification in 2001, and IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) certification in 2010 Available upon request, the Quality Manual describes CRM Quality Management.

 

Our qualifications

Control

COFREND II Magnetic Particle Testing, COFREND II Liquid Penetrant Testing and COFREND II Ultrasound Testing qualifications represent additional assets for CRM. Accredited by the COFREND ( French Confederation for non-destructive tests), CRM can carry out itself magnetic particle and liquid penetrant examinations on its parts.
